The sun came out for the second World Naked Bike Ride to take place in Bristol (see pictures from 2010 WNBR Bristol here)

Hundreds of riders, some clothed, some painted, some clothes-free cycled from the Full Moon pub to College Green and back again via the city centre. Lots of happy, and some bemused city folk and visitors, looked on as the ride leisurely winded its way through the city streets at a more gentle pace than the usual cars and buses.

The aim of the ride were to raise awareness and respect between all road users - cyclists, cars, lorries, buses and pedestrians - to make all journeys safer and more enjoyable. Judging by the car horns much awareness was raised.

The Naked Bike Ride also carries the ethos of The Bristol Cycling Campaign in mind - which aims to make a car-free city centre, priority cycle routes and a 20mph speed limit.
